Oleksandr Usyk is a Ukrainian professional boxer and the undisputed world heavyweight champion. His record: 24-0, 15 knockouts. He is considered one of the best boxers of our time and the only boxer of the 21st century to have twice won the undisputed world heavyweight title.

Oleksandr Usyk spent his childhood in Crimea. The future champion joined a boxing club at the age of 15. Just a few years later, in 2008, he began working under coach Anatoliy Lomachenko and rapidly rose through the ranks: gold at the 2008 European Championship, gold at the 2011 World Championship, and, finally, gold at the 2012 London Olympics in the cruiserweight division. Usyk's amateur career laid the foundation for his success in the professional ring.

In 2013, Usyk signed a contract with the Klitschko brothers' company and made his professional debut. He set a record at cruiserweight, winning the WBO championship belt in just his 10th fight—faster than Evander Holyfield. He then defeated Murat Gassiev in the final to become the undisputed cruiserweight champion (2018).

In 2019, Usyk moved up to the heavyweight division. There, he scored victories over Dereck Chisora, Anthony Joshua (twice), Daniel Dubois (twice), and Tyson Fury. By defeating Fury, Oleksandr Usyk became the undisputed world heavyweight champion for the first time, and after a knockout victory over Dubois, he became the undisputed world heavyweight champion for the second time, matching Muhammad Ali's achievement.
